The Friends meet p e r i o d i c a l l y , a p p r o x i m a t e l y monthly, at 7:00pm, usually in the Community Room at the Church, to plan and organise fundraising and other events and to discuss funding needs. There is no fixed committee membership so if you would like to be involved just give us a call and turn up! Summer Fête 2023
On 18th June 2023 the Friends held a Summer Fête on the lawn of Bacton Manor. The crowds dodged the occasional light shower to enjoy a variety of games, a book stall, a tombola and the tower game which proved particularly popular. The Summer Raffle was drawn with a host of prizes, the winner taking home a wheelbarrow full of booze, both alcoholic and non! Teas, coffees and a feast of home-made cakes and buns sustained the inner man whilst Kevin Nightingale provided musical entertainment with his guitar. The whole event was hugely successful, raining over £1,600 for the the Friends funds. The Friends would like to thank David Chambers for, once again, allowing us to use his lawn for the event.
